Medals were awarded to those in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age group. If you didn't stay for your medal on Saturday, you can pick it up at the Fat Squirrel Pub & Grille, from Friday April 17th. Address: 3755 Southern Blvd SE, Rio Rancho. Their opening hours are 11AM-midnight Mon-Sat, and 11AM-10PM Sundays. Just ask for the rewards in the reception!

Description:
Chip timed Run-Bike-Swim at Rio Rancho Aquatic Center.
Bike and run moderately hilly loop courses.
5k run, 25k bike, 400yd swim.
Fees:
Early sign-up till January 18th: $42 for individuals, $99 for
teams, $10 for kids.
After January 18th: $48 for individuals, $109 for teams and $10
for kids.
After April 8th: $53 for individuals, $118 for teams, $12.50 kids.

- Awards by age division in 5 year increments and 1st place to overall Female and Male.
- Packet pickup will be
at High Desert
Bicycles (909 36th Place SE, Rio Rancho) on Friday April 10,
4pm-7pm. Race-day morning packet pickup will be between 6am-7:30am
at race location.
NOTE: During packet pickup you will have to purchase a USAT one-day license for $10 (unless you already have a USAT license), for insurance reasons. You must pay for this in CASH or with CHECK only, we can not take credit cards unfortunately. - Body marking starts at 7:00am at race location.
- Timing chip: pick up at race day.
- Course details: The run course map is now available for download as a pdf file. The bike course map is available as pdf (pdf version), or online (online version). Both the run and the bike course go counter-clockwise.
- Parking: The parking lot outside the aquatic center will be closed during the event, to ensure safety of the triathletes. You will also be able to park just south of the Aquatic center.
- Training clinics: Get prepared for the race with one of our evening clinics! Choose either the freestyle swim clinic (Tuesday March 24) or the triathlon clinic (Wednesday, March 25).
- This race will donate parts of the funds to Don Shepman who recently underwent open heart surgery. Don & Genia Shepman are the MVTC race directors, and consequently had to cancel the 2009 MVTC triathlon this year.
