Training for Sprint, Olympic and Half Triathlons
Goal races: Cochiti, Patriot, Warrior & Elephant Man Triathlons
Train together with other triathletes and improve your skills in swimming, running and biking. Location is Del Norte Sports & Wellness. You can participate in this program even if you are not a member of the gym! No previous experience required, but it is good if you have a bike, and run/bike/swim gear. Schedule will vary from week to week (you will get a detailed schedule when the training starts), but will include:
·Underwater swim video and analysis
·Run gait analysis and training; drills, shoe and gear tips
·Cycling form and efficiency, aero instruction and gear
·Nutrition, hydration, and supplementation talks
·Functional strength and conditioning training
·Weekly training schedule included
·Optional Saturday open water lake swims, group rides & runs
·Taught by USA Triathlon, USA Cycling and USATF Expert Certified Coaches
Intensity level is modifiable. The class incorporates swim, bike and run endurance training plus core & functional sports training for your first or best triathlon!
Cost $249 DNSW members, $299 for non-DNSW members
